NORDIC STAR CHEF SØREN SELIN ENTERS PURSTOLZ GOURMET FESTIVAL

After last years great success on having Danish Star Chef Esben Holmboe Bang of 2 Star Michelin Restaurant Maaemo in Oslo visiting purStolz Gourmet Festival, Herr Robert Stolz has decided to welcome Nordic Star Chef Søren Selin of highly acclaimed Restaurant AOC in Copenhagen, to this years edition of the small but bespoke North-German gourmetfestival

“These two days we offer our guests an entire evening with the guests chef’s philosophy and purStolz gourmet festival menu. I’m looking very much forward to greet Søren Selin as I’ve had my eyes on him and his gastronomy for some time now.”, Robert Stolz says and continues; “When I discovered Søren was appointed new Head Chef at the 1 Star Michelin AOC, I saw my que to ask him to come cook with us”.

Søren Selin was appointed Head Chef of AOC in March 2013. With him he took his trusted Sous Chef Jakob Bär Mogensen, who has an impressive resume including the 2-starred Michelin Restaurant AbaC in Barcelona.

Together in front, the new team at AOC have managed to dazzle the food critics of Copenhagen by only receiving full house (six stars) from the three main National newspapers, also being nominated for “The Danish Dish of the Year 2013”.

Chef Selin has a culinary past at Le Relais Louis XIII (2 Star Michelin) and Jules Verne (1 Star Michelin), both situated in Paris, and at Alberto K in Copenhagen. Besides being rewarded with only top reviews on his gastronomy, he has been nominated in various categories for “The Danish Dish of Year” four years in a row.

Dates of the Second purStolz Gourmet Festival is October 27th & 28th 2013, both nights presenting a 5 course AOC Menu, where Søren Selin cooks with Robert Stolz and his team. Restaurant Stolz holds 1 star in Guide Michelin.
