About Bon Vivant
Bon Vivant is a global gastro embassy specialising in strategic branding, public relations, destination marketing, culinary entrepreneurism and business development within the global hospitality and gastronomy industry.
For more than three decades, the Danish founder, Kristian Brask Thomsen, has in various capacities worked with many of the world’s most celebrated chefs, restaurants, destinations, brands, and culinary institutions. Bon Vivant was founded in Copenhagen in 2011, and today the company represents vast culinary interests across 19 time zones, working with trusted partners from Los Angeles to New Zealand, on every continent except Africa and Antarctica.
Beyond consulting, Bon Vivant produces award-winning documentary films, develops international culinary concepts, creates and curates unique pop-up experiences, residencies and gourmet festivals, and collaborates with leading organisations across food, wine, tourism, and culture.
Kristian Brask Thomsen is also the creator and host of Dining Impossible, often described as the wildest dinner party on Earth, and regularly delivers keynote lectures for universities, food festivals, corporations, and business leaders around the world. As is he the publisher of FEAST – a global journal with an independent editorial team, portraying some of the most exciting projects and personalities within the world of gastronomy.
Bon Vivant’s international team is mostly based in Barcelona and Bangkok while the founder today is based in Tbilisi. Almost every member of the culinary embassy’s staff started by working closely alongside the founder before growing into independent project managers and trusted senior team members.
We’re now looking for someone eager to follow the same journey with Kristian in Tbilisi.
About the Role
This is far more than a traditional Executive Assistant position.
You’ll be supporting the founder in his professional and personal operations while gaining exposure to an extraordinary international business spanning hospitality, branding, media production, luxury events, gastronomy, and global communications.
During your first one to two weeks, you will primarily observe, shadow senior team members, and learn how the company operates. Once familiar with our processes, you will gradually begin taking ownership of tasks independently while receiving continuous support from the team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipates needs before being asked, and wants to build a long-term career alongside an internationally recognized entrepreneur.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Personal Support
- Manage the founder’s calendar, appointments, meetings, and daily priorities.
- Coordinate calls across multiple international time zones.
- Arrange travel itineraries, accommodation, transportation, restaurant reservations, and logistics.
- Handle personal errands including purchasing gifts, flowers, groceries, specialty items, and other requests.
- Coordinate with household staff, service providers, contractors, and maintenance personnel.
- Communicate with banks, government authorities, service providers, and external partners when required.
- Track personal to-do lists and ensure important deadlines are not overlooked.
- Prepare documents, schedules, reminders, and briefing materials for upcoming meetings.
- Assist with various confidential matters while maintaining absolute discretion.
Communications & Business Operations
- Serve as a communications liaison between the founder, clients, partners, and the internal team.
- Manage professional correspondence through email, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Coordinate with colleagues across multiple countries and time zones.
- Participate in client meetings and strategy calls when required.
- Prepare meeting notes, follow-up actions, and ensure tasks are completed.
- Organize and maintain internal documentation, SOPs, templates, and operational processes.
- Help update databases of international writers, journalists, culinary ambassadors, and hospitality representatives.
- Assist with research related to restaurants, destinations, chefs, hospitality brands, and potential business opportunities.
- Support ongoing branding, PR, marketing, and business development initiatives.
- Help maintain project timelines and coordinate internal deliverables.
Events, Productions & Special Projects
- Assist in coordinating international culinary events, pop-up experiences, festivals, and private dinners.
- Support logistical planning before, during, and after events.
- Coordinate with venues, suppliers, chefs, partners, sponsors, and vendors.
- Assist with guest lists, invitations, schedules, travel arrangements, and event materials.
- Provide on-site operational support during events when required.
- Help coordinate documentary productions, filming schedules, interviews, and production logistics.
- Research potential collaborators, locations, suppliers, and creative concepts for upcoming projects.
- Be ready to travel occasionally when business requires additional support.
Qualifications
Required
- Experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Operations Coordinator, or similar role within an English-speaking environment.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Ability to prioritise multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities may shift quickly.
- High sense of responsibility and ownership.
Preferred
- Experience within hospitality, gastronomy, brands, events, PR, communications, or creative industries.
- Experience supporting senior executives or founders.
- Additional foreign languages are considered a strong advantage.
- Interest in restaurants, food culture, wine, travel, and international business.
- Creative thinker who enjoys contributing ideas rather than simply executing tasks.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal person is naturally curious, resourceful, and enjoys making things happen.
You don’t wait to be told what to do—you anticipate needs, communicate clearly, solve problems, and genuinely enjoy supporting others. You thrive in an environment where every week brings new projects, new countries, new people, and new opportunities.
Most importantly, you’re looking for more than just a job. You’re looking for a place where you can learn, grow, and eventually become a trusted member of a close-knit international team.
Compensation & Working Hours
Location: On-site, near Liberty Square, Tbilisi
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM and when needed when the founder is in Tbilisi, which is approximately a total of 6 months a year. When he isn’t you’ll have the flexibility and freedom to be where you want to be, just as long as responsibilities and tasks are fully met and fulfilled.
Salary: Depends on experience and qualifications. And as the company continuously grows, there will be opportunities for increased responsibility, international exposure, travel, and career progression.
