The second edition of the Nordic Michelin Guide was released Wednesday in Copenhagen with the announcement that Restaurant AOC received two Michelin stars of three possible for the second time consecutive.

This makes AOC the only second two-starred Michelin restaurant in Copenhagen with world-famous Noma as the other, as Geranium this year received a third star, making the restaurant the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Denmark.

Restaurateur Christian Aarø, Chef Owner Søren Selin and the team at AOC are overjoyed with being awarded two stars.

“It was a dream come true last year, it’s a dream come true this year”, Søren Selin states and continues, “The new Michelin Guide is also a reflection of the contribution the Nordic region is making to global gastronomy”.

Christian Aarø adds: “On that note allow us also to congratulate Geranium, and also Maaemo in Oslo for their fantastic achievement on receiving three Michelin stars. What a great accomplishment!”
