Bon Vivant Communications announces with great pleasure, that as of September 1st 2014, the Copenhagen/Barcelona based culinary embassy represents 2* Michelin, high rising Atera Restaurant of New York City.

This exciting international collaboration will not only broaden opportunities in New York and the U.S, but more profoundly on a global level as the irrefutably unique style of Atera is circulated to gourmands all around the world.

Besides founding Bon Vivant Communications, Kristian Brask Thomsen also hosts the globetrotting dinner party, Dining Impossible whereby passionate diners are taken to the best restaurants around the world on three-day gourmet raids.

One of such weekends saw Mr. Brask Thomsen and guests in New York, dining at Atera among other top restaurants. In retrospective it was clear that Atera was the most distinct experience during this memorable weekend, – including its Nordic way of thinking food.

Jodi Richard, the owner of Atera and Kristian Brask Thomsen, quickly became friends, building a relationship based around mutual interests and a love of dining. Furthermore, their mutual belief in each other’s abilities quickly produced talks about working together on Atera’s future projects.

A short while down the line and Bon Vivant Communications has been taken on to act as a bespoke diplomacy, not only consulting Atera on matters of strategic branding, PR, communications and food festivals, but also with on-going challenges and future business opportunities.

Mrs. Richard notes: We are very excited to be partnering with Kristian Brask Thomsen and the Bon Vivant team. Our collaboration with Bon Vivant Communications is the next natural step for the growth of the Atera brand.”

ABOUT ATERA

—————————————

Home to Star Chef Matthew Lightner, this elegant fine dining counter has already made quite a name for itself, instantly earning itself two Michelin stars only six months after opening, maintaining these ever since.

Having worked alongside culinary genii Ferran Adrià, Andoni Luis Aduriz, and Juan Mari Arzak, not to mention his time at the world’s best restaurant, Noma, it is no wonder that The New York Times describes Atera as “one of the most fascinating experiences you can have in a New York City restaurant.”

Kristian Brask Thomsen states: “We are thrilled to work with such an intriguingly innovative restaurant. It’s interesting, fun, sexy, on edge, allures you into a culinary time pocket and makes you feel very special,” going on to explain that, “therefore it’s also perfect for us to represent Atera as we – perhaps a bit unconventionally – choose who we work with. Pay cheque size isn’t everything. Helping fiery souls who make a difference, is.”

Though refusing to elaborate, Mr. Brask Thomsen does say that “Atera has a lot of exciting challenges ahead of them.”
